We would like to introduce ourselves briefly: we, from E.S.V. Demos, are a pleasant and active student association. We are a close association with over 200 members where everyone knows each other and is always open for a chat. At Demos you will also meet students from all kinds of studies in Eindhoven, because we are open to both TU students and HBO students.
We are all students who want to make the best of student life and that is why equality is one of our main standards. From the moment you enter our association you are equal to all other members. This makes it easy to quickly find your place at Demos!
All Demos members have one thing in common: we are all passionate students who want to get the most out of their student life. In addition to having drinks every week, we also organize a range of activities. For example, we have casino evenings, movie nights, great parties and socially oriented promotions. Any member who wants to create a fun activity is free to organize this. It is also possible to go on holiday with the entire association every year. All these activities make your student days unforgettable!
All activities are organized for members and by members, which means that behind all the cool activities there are committees (or other groups of members) that have worked to make this a reality. You can easily join these committees and you can learn a lot from them, from organizing things for large groups of people to developing good meeting skills. In short: a good way to learn things that you do not get during your lectures!
In addition to all the separate activities, you can join all kinds of groups: immediately during the introduction time you set up your own year club with your friends and there are several sub-associations such as our football team, a group that drinks specialty beer together, and much more!
If you want to know more about studying in Eindhoven or Demos, you can always contact us. We are happy to tell you more about our experiences: from studying to finding rooms and from Eindhoven to our association!
